Harvesting & Washing
At our ITGAP-certified turf nurseries in various countries, we are equipped to distribute turf locally and internationally, utilizing sea or air freight. Before exporting turf, we ensure that both sod and sprigs are thoroughly washed to remove any excess soil or sand as necessary.
We adhere to strict machinery protocols, so we use dedicated equipment for each grass variety. This practice helps prevent cross-contamination.
Packing and Storing
After the grass has been dried, we focus on lowering the temperature to 5 degrees Celsius. Once the desired temperature is reached, we carefully pack the sod and sprigs into bags.
Temperature tracking devices are placed inside the containers to monitor the grass’s temperature throughout the journey, ensuring it arrives in pristine condition.
Grow In and Establishment
Site- and variety-specific agronomy programs are implemented to ensure that establishment occurs within the predetermined time frame. During the growth phase, a selection of fertilizers will be used, alongside the execution of cultural practices tailored to the specific turf variety.
Additionally, moisture management will be meticulously calculated to maintain optimal moisture levels throughout the various stages of establishment.
